Now isn't that interesting, three Remainers respond and they are all avoid answering the question.

Let's ask you all again.

Hypothetically, in the event of a 'Peoples Vote' with Remain winning 95% on a 34% turnout because of a Leave boycott, would you claim victory and demand we stay in. A Yes or No answer is all that is required.

C'mon guys, don't be shy!

Mr Stevens, as perhaps the most Europhile of the Europhiles, who like Blackpool Rock if you were cut in half would have a ring of gold stars running right through you. That being said you are clearly one of the prime supporters of ignoring the the 2016 referendum under whatever subterfuge and deceit works, I wonder how you will actually respond to a second referendum if the following happens.

It is now clear that the forces of Leave will campaign to boycott your' Losers Vote', so working on the simple maths of the 72% voted last time and the Leave vote boycotts. that will leave your Remain campaign assuming you can keep all of them on board at about 34%, which could be lower, as I understand even some Remainers believe in democracy, although I haven't met many.

The question is would you claim victory to stay in the EU on 95%share of a 34% turnout, because laughingly I do believe many of your ilk would.

" a legally binding termination"

Isn't that a contradiction when it come to British politics these days, when we are watching our legislative body conspire amongst themselves to undermine the whole Article 50 legal process. It would seem to this bunch of charlatans anything legally binding always has an unwritten qualifier between the lines saying in effect.... '''Legally Binding As Long As MP's, the Chosen People Agree With It''''

What do you mean he is not in a position he can resign from?

He is a Conservative MP, this Conservative government does not have a majority without the DUP. With Soubry and the others going, even with the DUP the majority is wafer thin. All it would take is a handful of so called Conservative Eurosceptic MP's to resign the whip, and this government would come crashing down. It's time the public had the chance to vote on this two faced duplicity across all parties in a GE.

Is this real or a spoof?

I have absolutely no idea, I am increasingly losing the will or the ability to rationalise all the vacuous blather about dancing on the head of a pin that emanates from these opininated gobsh*tes.

Here is a question for the died in the wool loyal Conservative Brexiteers.

What are you all going to do if this treachery succeeds, if Rudd, Hammond, Gauke, Hunt and the rest succeed in wrecking a proper Brexit, and de facto keep us in the EU in all but name.

After the betrayal document is signed sealed and delivered, will it be business as usual, will you put all this behind you and get back to helping to elect and re-elect the Rudd's, Hammond's and Hunt's of the party. Will you carry on working and supporting them, will you reward them for their treachery by working and contributing to keep them in power.

At what point, at what level of betrayal does self respect trump loyalty to a political clique to convince you that a line in the sand has been crossed, or is there nothing the party could do that would stop a Conservative Brexiteer from supporting this bunch of anti -democrats.

C'mon ERG dump the whip and bring this appalling government, and parliament of two faced hypocrites crashing down. Let's have a General Election and give the people the opportunity to get rid of these shysters.

"It was Conservative MP's who put her there, and the majority who voted to keep her on when challenged. They're the ones at fault"

That is the nub if the issue, we are all focusing on May, but what has finally been exposed is the 45 year deceit of the fake eurosceptics in the Conservative Party. This party has been the driver and implementer of ever more integration with the EU, despite trying to claim it is eurosceptic.

The events of the last 3 years have now exposed them for what they really are, and the question now is what are those Conservative voters who thought they were voting for the most Eurosceptic party do now they have had it smashed into their foreheads with a political sledgehammer, that they have actually been supporting and voting for a party just as Europhile as the LibDems.

" But I do know that the entire British political and much of the Civil Srevice elite have been shown to be utterly incompetent and incapable."

Indeed David, we are constantly being told that it has nothing to do with the Civil Service who are simply acting under instruction. If anybody believes that, I have a bridge to sell them.

When this is over the whole Civil Service at the First Division Association level needs to be independently investigated by whatever government eventually comes out of the collapse of the Labour and Conservative parties. We need a complete clearing out of the Civil Service Augean stables, with if necessary wholesale departmental clearouts of senior civil servants who have forgotten who they work for. When we have finally left, we cannot move on with hundreds of EU fellow travellers pulling the strings of the civil service.

.......or a dozen of the Brexiteers, probably some of those who are going to lose their seats anyway at the next election, walk out , crashing and burning this bunch of f*ckwits in the cabinet and their incompetent government, forcing a general election.
