Not a big deal, but I just wanted to comment on electoral-vote.com's Georgia change. I read on the site a few days ago that they had been considering Vernon Jones the candidate as he had won a plurality in the initial primary. As they didn't have any polling data which they considered reliable for Jones vs. Chambliss, they used the results of the 2002 election for the map. As this was a relatively close election, it was classified "Weak Republican." Now that Jim Martin is the nominee, they are using the polling data available for his race, which favors Chambliss by 11 in the latest poll (which was better for the Democrats than the Jones-Chambilss polls I have seen on other sites).

There are a few other states in which they have no polls, but they all are considered (rightly) by E-V to be safe seats, based on the results of the 2002 elections.

Any word on who the medalists have endorsed?

It was CNN that used those words ("nominee" and "vanquished") - DemConWatch was quoting.

I'm surprised CNN did say "nominee" since some other sources are being careful to use the phrase "presumptive nominee." In my opinion, it is just semantics, though Obama's nomination will not be official until the convention.

Shouldn't the WY seat be listed as Open? Barbara Cubin is retiring.

Unfortunate, because her propensity for controversial comments would have given the Democrats a better shot at this seat in an R+19 district.

It should be pointed out that EMILY's list condemned the ad, if not the candidate.

Though in my view they should have done both. This was ridiculous. This party is supposed to be the party of tolerance, of understanding, of the big tent - we can't have this hateful nonsense.
