Bebo, This is my new favorite Christmas song. I am taking gutar lessons, and would love to learn to play this song. I think it could be played any time of the year, as it seems to tell the whole story, not just about His birth but about the angels before God sent his son, why Jesus had to come, and about the fact that one day we'll all surround the throne.

Hey Bebo, I'm glad your friends talked you into it. I thought for a long time that Christian music was only what was available in my church hymnal, and it was slowly killing my worship of God, and further my relationship with him. I found out about K-LOVE and Way-FM, and the first time I heard you on the radio was "Great Light of the World". I can't begin to tell you how music like yours has strengthened my relationship with God. Thank you for your sacrifice, and thanks to your family as well, I know they probably share it with you!

1) I think we need to review every power that the Federal Government has right now, compare it to the original powers granted, and if they are not in alignment with each other, repeal whatever act or law put it in place.

2) Call Liberalism/Progressivism what it is, "Un-American". These people are political refugees with no country of origin. They have gained control of a National party, with no majoprity of the people to speak of. If an honest assessment of their positions was made public, it would not stand up to the scrutiny of the American people.

3) Start telling people that we are a Christian nation, and that's actually a good thing. The word Christian is not a four letter word. Christians want to care for the poor and sick, want to follow the law, want to pay taxes for responsible government, are called to manage the earth (not tread so lightly that we don't leave a footprint), and love the gift of life. All Government has to do is get out of the way.

If I hear one more Republican say they need come up with new ideas or solutions, I'm going to explode. I don't need some politician solving my problems, I need them to protect my rights, defend my country, and leave me alone to suceed or fail! Their role is not the great "Problem Solver", they are there to serve and protect the lawful from the unlawful. They are there, at the federal level, to keep the size of government as small as possible, in order to allow the states, counties, cities and families to live in peace and prosperity.

Thanks for all the advice. I looked at the Tea Party web site a few days after the Tea Parties and found that there was another site put up for what happens the day after. I saw where they would help train you to become an activist, help you train to run for office, and other things. I'm interested in looking at running for office, but I want to make sure I know what I know, and I can articulate what I believe. I think that's been a real problem for the Republican Party and Conservatives in general (not that conservatives = republicans). I started reading the "5,000 Year Leap" and it amazes me how our country was setup to function and where it has come. It seems like the terms "Personal Responsibility", "Integrity", and "Virtue" are four letter words now.

I swear, I keep up with all this stuff going on and when I talk to people about it, they look at me like I'm some kind of conspiracy nut. I go to church and on Wednesday nights, when we have a time of prayer and bible study. I ask our small group to pray for specific things that the libs/progressives are doing, and my pastor actually says I don't have enough faith in God. This is the last free country in the world, a gift from God, and I want to pray that it stays that way, and my pastor says I don't have enough faith in God?! I just don't understand the thinking of some people in this country, especially people who are supposed to be conservative.

I just see the country going down the drain, and I see this group doing something, and the Tea Parties are doing something, but it still seems too small. It seems like there are 20% of the libs/progressives active, and there are 20% of conservatives active, and there are 60% of the rest that are sitting on there duffs. How do we get the 60% to stand up and be counted?

I really getting frustrated here, I don't know whether to focus on the 912Project, the Tea Parties, Reforming the GOP, or save my money and go buy an island. And then sometimes, I waiting to here the Twilight Zone theme song.

1) Demand that real American Civics (history of the Country and the Constitution, how the Senate and House of Representitives works, etc.) are taught in schools. If they are not allowed or available in shcools, I've got a novel idea, VOLUNTEER to teach it.

Also there should be some kind of minimum amount of time that a bill must be published before debate, and then no time limit on how long it can be debated. If you've ever watched any debate, a congressman or senator only gets a few minutes to speak about a bill. One of the things I noticed, while reading "The 5000 Year Leap", is that the Founding Fathers debated until everyone was in agreement, not until everyone was out of time.
