Yes, the state forest can be VERY confusing esp at night!! Cool tid bjt of info for you too....you can cut thru the forest to get to Plymouth onto Long Pond Rd. which will take you to the PineHills as well!! It is a nice drive if you ever have some extra time and felt like a jaunt!! I grew up in Plymouth, it is a great town even though it has grown SUBSTANTIALLY since I graduated high school and moved out of town! My parents are still there....I think about the area that they bulit the new development....I used to ride (horses) out there....my old barn is on Old Sandwich Rd. which ubuts the PineHills area....I told my daughter if we won the house, I would get have her start taking lessons at my old barn!! It is this AWESOME store, not christmas stuff, but very cape cod like, sells almost anything and everything and it is my FAV place to go for designing rooms, decorating etc. and cheap?? I never buy my pic frames anywhere else....they are all from there and I have never paid over 10 dollars for one!! but again, it is right over the bridge on the Cape side and you HAVE to be sure to go there!! I cant wait to see if the winner is someone on here and I hope that they will email me and tell me so I can tell them about all the places to check out!! To quote a phrase that gets tossed around by people, it sounds like Mass and has the word hole at the end of it....ya, I have heard THAT one a million times!! But again, it is very accessable to the hiway which i think made it so attractive to professionals from the city to want to come and live on the southshore as we call it.... America's Hometown!! I was saying too, there is a big thanksgiving parade on the sat before the holiday, the 4th of July one is awesome too, esp for the kids!! Lots of candy and gift throwing!! The thanksgiving one is alot of muskets and guns going off so my daughter hates that part....lol....but my parents are still there, about 3 miles away from this house or so and the barn I used to ride at is on the road ajacent to the PineHills....I used to ride the trails in there before it was all built up!!
