I didn't mind and learned a lot from him. She accepted my correction without incident and thanked me. This very nice lady was going off to earn her master's degree at the end of the year, so I hope I helped her, LOL! This was a public school back in the mid 60's. We had some great, dedicated teachers back then. Their focus was on teaching the subject, getting the students involved and participating. They were not in the business of socializing us. Kids have always been pretty good at socializing themselves, especially if the have strong parental guidance at home.
