Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 4/30/09: W.H.O. says "TAKE US TO LEVEL 5!"

There's a reason healthcare has become the largest consumer of silver from all industrial sectors. Colloidal silver shipped to you in plastic (I forgot to mention that in my last post) and left out in bright light isn't going to be very effective, especially when taken on a full stomach, but that doesn't change the fact that the principle is sound. Granted, having (relatively) large chunks of silver running through your system can create problems, but that's why I mentioned filtration in my previous post.

It's not bad advice in and of itself, but the advice could potentially lead somebody to end up with blue skin. The problem isn't the advice, the problem is that the advice didn't come with warnings against keeping the colloidal silver in the sunlight, taking too much colloidal silver, or using colloidal silver that hasn't been filtered. Unfortunately, some of the companies selling colloidal silver are more concerned about profit than your health (shocking, isn't it?), so it will often come in clear bottles so it can bathe in the sunlight and lose its potency, assuming it had decent quality to begin with. It's important to do a bit of research and make sure the stuff you're buying is actually good, and if you're making it yourself it's important to make sure you actually know how to make it properly. Either way, taking large amounts daily is highly unnecessary. It's not as bad for your health as taking large amounts of aspirin (or several other drugs), but if it's not properly made (I know at least one of those blue people you were talking about made his own) you can turn blue from it.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Stand Up & Lead - 3/24

Recently I had an idea that, as far as I know, could have a chance of improving the economy in some states if it is successful, but I'm not exactly an economic expert, so I'd like to hear what others think. The plan is to write an initiative measure that would have the states refund a portion of all corporate taxes paid by businesses in the state. I know that corporate taxes only make up about 13% of the federal government's revenue, so having the state refund (for example) a third of the corporate taxes paid in the state should be affordable, though obviously it would be incredibly expensive. In my state of Washington the primary source of revenue is the property tax, and a plan that brings more successful businesses into the state would raise property values, but I'm not sure if the increased revenue would outweigh the costs. Can anybody who knows economics better than I do tell me if the state of Washington (or any other state) would be able to afford this sort of measure?

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 4/20/09: Senior WH Advisor Says Tea Party Movement Is "Unhealthy"

How are you defining Left and Right? How to answer your accusation of Right never being right depends heavily on your definition. I can easily point out several examples where my definition of Right is the correct path to take, but since you likely use a different definition, you'll simply claim it was a Left wing thing to do. Here are my definitions: Left favors bigger government and Right favors smaller government. Going too far to the Right leads to absolutely no government where it's every man for himself, and going too far to the Left leads to an absolute dictatorship where every aspect of our lives is controlled by the government. I generally avoid using relative terms like Left and Right to describe people, since different people have different points of reference, and some people are using completely different definitions.

Okay, I've been messing around with freeforums.org and created a forum: <a href="http://blessingsofliberty.freeforums.org/" target="_blank">http://blessingsofliberty.freeforums.org/ It's not much, but at least it's an actual forum where we can track our conversations more easily. Assuming we don't find a better forum to use, of course.

Maybe we should create a forum for the 912 project, specifically for things like this or the American party Brett Harvey has been talking about. We probably won't need anything fancy, so something like freeforums.org may well do the trick. We would, of course, need at least one moderator to keep the forum focused on actual projects that need worked on, and of course we would still need to use this site to raise awareness of the projects being worked on, but at least the forum would keep everything easily accessible for those of us following the projects.

Out of curiosity, what animal do you think should represent the party? Eagle? Snake? Turkey? Personally, I like the mouse, but the ant is also a good one. Obviously this is a minor detail that won't be important any time soon, but I'm curious to know what you think.

I agree. Calling these protests tea parties is great for its historical significance, but it makes it too easy for congress to put up a straw man argument for us to keep portions of the general public from thinking about the actual issue. Taxes are a problem, especially on businesses that have to raise prices and cut costs (which often involves people losing jobs) to compensate, but wasteful government spending is the big thing we want to fight.

It didn't move. The address had < / a > added onto the end twice. That seems to happen a lot here for some reason. If you look at the address bar after following the link Daniela123 gave, it's pretty easy to fix. http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/

Agreed. Not everybody is going to take the time to do all of the necessary research. It'd be great to have an easy to find place for the people who don't have time to do the research to benefit from the research of Americans that do have the time.
