I cancelled my Dish about a year ago. I was hesitant because I thought I couldn't live without my DVR. I now have a Roku HD ($60 delivered to my door), Netflix streaming ($8/month) and Hulu Plus account ($8/month). It was a little bit of a shock at first but I don't miss it at all anymore. I especially don't miss the huge monthly bill.
College football was the hardest thing to lose but it sure freed up my Saturdays during football season.

If you thinking about it just go for it. You won't miss it and you'll save a ton of money.

Agreed. Some of the smartest people I know are old farmers in Kuna. About the mexican food too, El Gallo Giro is the best.

I can't believe how so many conservative pundits are trying to tear down Ron Paul. We have a chance here to bring millions of people on to our side of aisle, to actually bring the country together based on a small government, fiscally responsible platform.

I'm shocked when I hear some of my liberal friends say they like what RP has to say. It goes against everything I've ever heard them say, which is usually something brilliant like "business bad, government good". It IS true that liberty brings people together, maybe that's why our founders decided to build a country around the idea.

Our dream of shrinking government and having real change in Washington has it's best chance of coming true with Paul. Why are we destroying the most principled conservative in the race? I could see rejecting Newt or Mitt based on their big gov flip flopping pasts, but why Paul?

I'm not the so called rabid fan, worshiper or Paulbot, nor am I high on drugs. I am just a fed up, life long, ultra conservative who grew up on the seat of a tractor listening to the likes of Rush, Beck (before he was cool) and all the others. I cancelled my dish TV about a year ago. My sole source of news is now the internet. My eyes have never been more open.

Exactly! I keep hearing about how he hasn't passed anything, well I don't want somebody that's always passing new laws.
More laws=Bigger government.

I'm beginning to think Breitbart doesn't like Ron Paul. It's too bad one of my favorite conservative sites is trying to tear down one of our top candidates.

I watched Midnight in Paris on a plane. It was so bad that I eventually just started listening to the radio chatter from the pilots, which was much more entertaining.

I don't get it either. Some people don't agree with his foreign policy but I think he is far more fiscally conservative than the other candidates. I used to assume he was little out there as well, just because that is all you ever hear about him. I took the time to read a couple of his books and was surprised to find out I agree with just about everything.

I would vote for Paul over Newt. It's all about the economy for me and I think Paul is the best choice to fix it.

I am not a Paulbot. There is a lot of complaining around here about the Paul supporters, but I think a case could be made that there is just as much name calling going on towards them as there is from them.

For a conservative he has said some strange things in the past about healthcare, gun control and global warming.

He is saying all the right things now but I don't trust him.
