This is made even worse because it has almost no military downside --- two divisions are not going to suddenly tip things in our direction but they are going to have a positive impact. The inability to frame and make this decision ensures they will have no impact before the snow begins to fly in the high altitudes of A'stan. They will only have an impact come spring. Perhaps President Obama should play a bit more golf, a bit more basketball and attend a few more old school fundraisers before he makes such a pissant decision.
