Big Hollywood : Top Ten Most Overrated Actors/Actresses of All Time

You're right about DiCaprio and Clooney, but Bill Murray? You say you liked Groundhog Day, but he was dramatic in that as well as funny. He was also great in Rushmore and recently Get Low which were also dramatic as well as comedic. He's certainly not overrated in any way. And Nicholson has "no versatility"? See About Schmidt and you'll retract that statement. I think you should just lay off the "overrated lists" as it paints you as a negative person. Try doing lists that shows us what you like instead.

Big Hollywood : Can We Judge Olivia Wilde for Judging Us for Judging Kim Kardashian's Quickie Marriage?

Big Hollywood : Sellout Depp Angry About Being Called a Sellout

While I'm not a Depp fan like I once was, I still enjoy many of his performances, particularly his work from the 90s like Ed Wood and Donnie Brasco. I certainly don't hate him like I hate say Penn, Clooney, Damon etc. I really don't see the problem here. He didn't mention Occupy Wall Street or anything political, he just addressed people complaining of the Pirate sequels, defending himself by saying he hasn't changed and is technically doing what he always has been doing. I don't mind necessarily him making so much money either. While it might be too much, as Rush Limbaugh once said, "You're only worth as much as someone is willing to pay you". We're definitely in a troubling economy under this administration, but I don't think Depp is really the problem.

Big Hollywood : Morning Call Sheet: 'J. Edgar' Is a 'Love Story,' Universal Admits They Make 'Sh*t,' and Bond 23 Wil

I love Clint Eastwood, but I don't really see what appeals to him about J. Edgar. I suspect because he's 81, and wants to keep himself busy all the time in order to make him sharp, and a film about J. Edgar Hoover seem interesting as he was an interesting guy. I wish the script went into another direction though. I wonder if Clint feels the same way.

Big Hollywood : HomeVideodrome: Depp's 'Pirates,' Smith's 'Red State' and a Certain '70s-era Chocolatier

I think the biggest problem of the Pirates franchise was the fact they made part 2 end on a cliffhanger and tried hard for Part 3 to solve everything. Everyone was hopeful it would go the Indiana Jones route and give us separate adventures, instead they went the whole cliffhanger route like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings which shouldn't have been done. It was obvious from Dead Man's Chest gross that everyone was excited about the potential franchise of this world, but the writers ended up shooting themselves in the foot. By the time they finally went with that route with On Stranger Tides, it was too little too late. I enjoyed it for what it was, but this series has gotten stale.

Big Hollywood : Batman vs. the '99 Percent' - 'Dark Knight Rises' Could Clash with Occupy Wall Street Throng

Wait I don't quite get the post. The title and the beginning sound like the movie is going to put the protestors in a negative light. Then at the end, Hollywoodland describes the post as the film possibly going to glorify the movement. Um what? Either way, I think we should at least wait until the film is complete to make judgements.

Big Hollywood : Can Anyone Truly Make A Film About 9/11?

David Lynch has actually come out and said he has retired from film directing, so it'd have to be someone else. As for whether someone will ever make a film about 9/11, I actually thought of that immediately after the attacks. Sadly, I have the feeling it would be like James Cameron did to the Titanic: An overproduced Hollywood film that isn't about the world trade center attack at all. I haven't seen Stone's WTC film all the way through, but from what I saw, it pretty much suffered that problem. I'm not sure how you'd be able to approach the subject, but I definitely think its possible.
