Lol, my mom said the same thing when I told her I was joining the Marines after I graduate from college. It took me a week of persuading to get her to agree to it. I had to explain exactly that I was going to join as an officer not as an enlistee and everything else. It was not easy. Oh and tell your husband thank you for his service.

There are a few things about Ron Paul that are deal breakers for me. The one that bothers me the most is him wanting to end the war on drugs.

Man this is nostalgic. I'm only 19 and I got the same treatment if did something stupid. A good beating now and then never does any real damage. I turned out pretty good too. I'm in a great college(Seton Hall), never got in trouble in high school, and I'm gonna join the Marines when I graduate. The old school way of raising kids definitely works.
