Chris, First of all - Thank you for your service to our country. Secondly - I believe you are making a mistake, dismissing the importance of the flag as "a piece of fabric." It's a symbol, and symbols are powerful. I haven't seen the movie, but if it really has left out the American flag... Well that's blatantly screaming anti-Americanism. They would have had to do that deliberately, work hard on how to specifically not include the stars and stripes that represent our country. Now why would they put so much effort towards leaving out the ultimate symbol of America from a movie about the "Real American Hero"? That just stinks of... Something not good.

Comrade - er - Citizen Iowahawk! I admire your restraint - I myself would not be able to discuss this matter so civilly. The ignorance of these mobs is appalling! They are spiteful cretins! Truly they are deceitful animals! I appreciate that posting photos of them is necessary for the educational campaign you are waging, but I find it hard to look at such horrid anti-American protesters (Thank goodness our trusted media outlets refuse to air stories of those abominations). Their arrogance is astonishing! To think they would know more than the Supreme Leaders is laughable. We must concentrate on removing their funding - destroying the hateful insurance companies and prescription drug manufacturers - so regular, everyday citizens of this once great country (like the men and women in the first set of pictures) can sleep soundly with the knowledge that there is no one to challenge our Leaders any longer. Then they will be able to move on with their plans to re-shape America. Continue your great work, dear Citizen Iowahawk!

Please accept my apology then. It's sometimes hard to hear the "tone" of how a comment was written. I clearly heard the sarcasm above though ;). So you want to be able to opt out of your global obligations at any time, when you decide it's in your best interests? After making a commitment to the WORLD that you are going to work together with them? Just because you think you will do a better job of governing on your own terms? Yet Liberals still fault Sarah Palin for resigning?

Whoa, hold on a second. In my experience I've come to see that the Middle East is like a barometer. You picked Israel to demonstrate a country that blows off UN Resolutions. Why? You throw a staunch ally under the bus when you could have picked N. Korea or Iran? See that's what I mean about a barometer. I think I can safely forecast the trend of this conversation. Hi :). I followed you over here because I like intelligent discussion...I just hope you're open minded as well. I believe you're referring to their shock at Sotomayor's "Wise Latina" comment. That wasn't them being PC! That was them exposing hypocrisy. Imagine if someone were to say "Wise white man." If Sotomayor is all into PC (as most Liberals are) then how dare she make a comment like that! And as for what you said above: "Political Correctness of the Right": LIBERAL: "Maybe we rushed into this war thing and we didn't have a good plan." CONSERVATIVE: "That's unpatriotic! You don't support our troops! How dare you!" You're deliberately censoring the Liberal's comment! They were vitriolic against the war and you know it. You portrayed them here as thoughtful and reasonable. If all they said was what you wrote above, it would never have inflamed to the level it did.

Really? Seriously? Global Cooperation: Working together while maintaining separate governments. Global Governance: Granting power to a government body, made up of all governments, to exercise authority over every government's policies. To sum it up: Governance means they can tell us what to do. Cooperation means we discuss what to do, but in the end, they keep their noses out of our business and we all decide on our own. Agree now?

But there's the rub! Why should we assume there is a problem? Scientific consensus? Not really. More and more scientists have decided Anthropogenic Global Warming isn't happening - and more and more scientists are beginning to put forth the idea that we might be headed for a period of global cooling! So there is no scientific consensus, and there is no scientific proof, but we KNOW that if we impose these carbon penalty taxes on businesses here in America, many will move overseas so they don't have to deal with them. Not to mention all the problems it will cause the little guy. I think we should stop throwing around the trite catchphrases "Politics of fear" and "Fear Monger-er." Everyone is afraid of something - the only question is, which fear is real? AGW isn't proven and has no scientific consensus, So I don't think we should make such drastic changes in our way of life to accommodate it.
