Based on the current situtation for most of people in the United State right now I doubt you could find anyone who has not had problems in the last 2 years. However we don't go out and rob someone and injure them. Every one has rough times. Drugs are not an excuse, if he has been to rehab then he had issues. Nothing warrents his behavior. She didnt ask to become a part of his rough couple of years. Drugs while an addiction were at one point a clear choice he made to use. Now he fits the sterotype of a druggie. But to slam her face into the brick pillar, please don't defend this action. Maybe they should consider themselves lucky he didnt have something he wanted when they yelled at him. If you are on a distructive path and involve innocent people then you have crossed the line. This was not a faceless crime. He has affected this womens life forever with fear, and all the things attaced to a violent crime. She will deal with this for years. So should he.
