Don't forget Tilney's wit and sarcasm! He can hold a real conversation and will happily (or ironically) discuss trashy novels!

I think half of my problem with Ross was the actor. I still haven't forgiven the terrible storyline from The Hobbit movies. (I realize it's not his fault, but just UGH.)

TEAM TILNEY FOREVER.

I tried to watch Poldark as it aired. I only made it a couple of episodes in before I was done with Ross and just didn't tune in again.

In Denton, Texas (about an hour North of Dallas), there's a fabulous used bookstore (Recycled Books) on the town square in a building that used be an opera house, which is now painted lavender. It's a literal labyrinth of books. (If that's your jam.)
The Denton square is also your quintessential Southern town square. There's an old fashioned ice cream shop, a big brick courthouse, etc. So a good taste of small town America.

In my first game, I wound up wooing and marrying Harvey (the Doctor), because he was by far the least skeevy option. The only benefit of being married is they sometimes water your plants/fix fences/feed the chickens, but they don't do it often. And now that he's married, he only sometimes goes to work. WHAT ARE YOU DOING ALL DAY DUDE?

I started a second game and started wooing Penny, because she at least had a job. But yeah, the bachelorettes aren't any better.

Stardew Valley is SO addictive and soothing. I haven't played it in a couple of weeks. I may have to go back.

One complaint though: There's fairly slim pickings for eligible bachelors. Only one of them is a real grown-up. The rest are just bros who live in their parent's basement. Oh and then there's weird Fabio guy who lives on the beach?

This has me so distracted I just scanned an empty scanner twice and could not figure out why I wasn't getting an image. ooof.

Thank you for all of the giggles and for creating such a fantastic community. I'm 90% a lurker, but the comments section is seriously the best. I'll have to watch to see where the refuge winds up and continue mostly lurking there.

I actually do okay with Aveeno's hand lotion, but their face stuff and their shampoo (oh geez, the shampoo) make me break out something awful.

You're welcome! Whole Foods has become my go to for skincare products. I have suuuuper sensitive skin and for some reason natural/organic/vegan/etc stuff tend to not aggravate my allergies, unlike a lot of the hypoallergenic stuff from the drug store (I'm looking at you Aveeno). Might be the placebo effect, but I'll take it!

Jump back! There's pine extract in Tom's? No wonder I react to it. XD
