Says the grow-a** Cena and Reigns fanboy.... SMH...
People don't know forgiveness anymore. They revel too much in pointing the finger at someone. Makes them feel better about their own messed up ways.
This was a cover you a-- move for WWE. They couldn't rightly support him thru the process because if he turns out guilty, they look bad for supporting a rapist. The whole thing is a shame all around. Even if, and I am not saying one way or another, Enzo is cleared of the charges, his name is still radioactive.
Actually, could we just banish him and his "just trying to be contrary" fans to the Phantom Zone where the lot of them belong?
I'd agree with this more if folks, myself included, hadn't been predicting it for the better part of the last 4 years or so. Seriously, it's a zombie promotion, taking hits that should have killed it, yet still marching forward. If it weren't all so bad, it'd be really remarkable.
"A man that represents himself in court has a fool for a client."
This. A thousand times - this. I want to see him in a ring again, but only if he can do it safely. My, our entertainment isn't worth him being another Dynamite Kid, He that shall not be named, or similar stories.
I know this may surprise you, but there are a lot of people for whom the end-all, be-all of the world doesn't boil down to politics.
If you're negotiating to appear at the biggest show of a promotion, if not the promotion's entire industry, if you're going to take the kind of money that he apparently wanted, then you GET in shape and you do the whole process right. Shaq never took it seriously.
The problem is that they are trying to make "a match with Shane" come off like some special privilege - akin to facing the Undertaker. Shane has some great moments under his belt, but beating him gains a competitor little to nothing and losing to him hurts them way worse than a regular loss (given that he isn't a normal roster performer). Do I expect the match to be great? Absolutely. Do I think AJ deserves more? Unquestionably.
