I agree with you but don't forget about the Patriot Act. Having the ability to tap American citizens cell phones in an effort to track terrorist actions is no way in the Constitution, in my opinion. Bush was a bad president and Obama is even worse. Thank God it seems true conservatism is starting to gain tremendous momentum.
When the campaigns really start to pick up in about a year or so, Paul could attract voters not from only the GOP, but liberals as well. That may be wishful thinking, but his anti-war stance and pledge to do some real budget cuts could sway some democrats.
Nuclear weapons are quite interesting. I don't know where I stand on them and their purpose. I do believe they are somewhat necessary, "Peace through strength." is what Reagan proclaimed! But none the less, if we ever actually had to use them again, God help us all! Our foreign policies are changing, for good or bad I do no understand enough to know. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
After watching Percy last week it kind of makes this move easier to swallow...
The Vikes certainly looked promising last Sunday, and the great thing is that we have more weapons at our disposal! With Bernard Berrian getting healthy we shouldn't see his name left off the stat sheet; hopefully with receptions for long yardage like last year. Favre seems to be settling in too, spreading the ball around to his receivers (Including AP!!). But let's keep our pants on for just a little while, we were playing against the Cleveland Browns and I believe they have had just one winning season in a little under a decade. Assuming a similar Week 2 victory against Kitties, Week 3 is setting up to be the Vikes first real test of merit against the Green Bay "Fudge" Packers.
Sounds like the TimberPups are on the upswing! I'm going to miss my buddy Randy Foye though... he came up in some big spots last year but at least we're replacing him with comparable talent. Also, Kevin Love's jump shot can only improve too and if he can consistantly knock down those 15 footers it should help open more space for Big Al in the post. Wuuuuud up??
