I totally love the structure, But I am not a fan of BLUE. too much to even change out if I won. But the building is a truly a dream I love the location and the view, That outdoor living area would be heaven up in the mountains. I have been near the home many times and it is part of heavn.
Nancy, don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out. Good riddance. I guess you have tapped all your donors for all the inside trading info they can give you , and you can't rake in any more millions of $$ so you are going to leave now. GOOD, there is enough pollution in D.C. to last a life time. GO back to California and leave the world alone. You have done enough damage to this country.
I may be the only one who doesn't like the uneven cantilever front porch. It is out of balance and I find it hard to let my eyes rest on it. If I won, I would balance the thing or remove it and do something else. But then I dont' like the "patio" on the front either. Yes I would remove it and change the front. it isn't to my liking, but the over all house is pretty nice.
I like most of the top 10 but not all of them. I would have to move the patio to the back of the house or fence it off. I like more privacy, don' t want it on the front, NOPE not my style
The master bedroom is to ZEN for me, too cold, I would remove the wood and make it less modern/Zenish. Just not my taste
I can live with most of the other points. I love the basics, just have a problem with a few things, but nothing wrong with that, we all would have to make it fit our taste and life style, when you do that , then becomes your HOME, not just a house you won. Can't wait to get started.
My wife and I would be yelling and crying and so happy. Then we would head to Denver to start the remodel. Yep some of it doesn't fit our family's life style so we would just change those things so our family would fit into the house. Repaint a few walls, change some colors and move the patio to the back yard. Not much just a little. If it doesn't fit your life style it isn't a good house. This one has all the basics, just needs some tweeking for us. We are going to have so much fun making it ours.
