As someone who came very close to getting T-boned in Cedar Rapids by a group of kids running a red light, I couldn't be happier that the cameras are there 24/7. I remember the night that it happened, and we had to pull over and stop--we were so tramatized. There were six of us in our vehicle and this group of kids just blew through the light at a very high rate of speed--and there we were in the middle of the intersection. I say, "THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU" for installing the speed cameras.
