Tom Yates, a City High schoolteacher and president of the teacher’s union, said using savings would be a logical move that would save jobs and keep cla.ss sizes down.

“What’s the point of a rainy-day fund if you don’t use it when it’s raining?” he said.

so since he agrees these are rainy days... he will be all in favoring a freeze in teachers pay until the rainy day fund is completely replaced

then it should be a stand alone Library.... not on any state of federally owned land. Because it can stand on it's own then it should... having it part of any university... is just wrong...
