The truth with shotshells is that you can very occasionally find varying quality of components. I've seen some of the worst shot and wads come out of very good brands and seen the best stuff come out of promo shells too. I assume this happens because they use what is on hand to keep the lines moving. I can't speak to your experience but B&P is known as a very good shell with quality components and I wouldn't hesitate to shoot them any time. The proof is in the performance in the field.

Can\\\'t find the exact data but the 1oz. 3 dram shell was around 1300 to 1350fps. The 1 1/8oz. shell should be 1200 to 1250fps.

We're planning on doing Midi, Battue and Rabbit next in the same theme. Any of those interest you? They will all be some play on the word too. We almost did "MINI-ME" but people hated that reference. There might be one other as yet undecided theme shirt in 2011 too.
