try the following

remove sim -> turn off iphone -> turn on iphone -> turn airplanemode on -> insert SIM -> wait 30 seconds -> turn airplane off

just rename the extension from zip to ipsw

Or if its really a zip file, then the ipsw file should be in there
then you'll have to unpack it
