I haven't heard anything, Lauren. Still waiting on some news. I've setup a Google Alert to let me know if anything in the news comes up.

You sound like a secular totalitarian. A perfect example of anti-freedom, anti-human rights. Think about what you're saying when you say "BAN all religions". Mao, Stalin and Polpot espoused atheism, and sought to repress religion in their respective countries. That's right, 3 of the worst genocidal murdering dictators the world has ever seen were atheists. What does that tell you about atheism? You wanna ban that too?

I don't agree with outright "ban" of Islam. I agree with halting Muslim immigration to this country as well as closely monitoring every single Mosque in this country and if there's an ounce of hate coming from ANY Imam, we should know about it and prosecute immediately. There should be NO tolerance for hate speech inside a mosque. Every Mosque should be wiretapped. We have to monitor what they're teaching the children.

Seems to me he's either been promised major incentives for his home state or he's trying to win democrat votes to stay in office. Either way, it's another pathetic RINO that needs to be weeded out in place of a TRUE conservative that represents the people on conservative principles rather than political expediency.

Muhammed, America SAVED the good citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan from the grips of your disgusting Islamic brotherhood. We also saved Muslims in Kosovo, Serbia and Kuwait. We are friends to anyone who wants peace, and enemies who wish for terror. Your "friends" in Gaza wouldn't stop terrorizing southern Israel and paid the price for it.

You are a perfect example of the worldwide cancer that is radical Islam. I hope one day a predator missile finds your home.

I've followed Obama close enough to know what he's doing by holding talks with evil dictatorships around the world without pre-conditions (something he's told us he would do) who would gladly destroy the US if given the chance. I never said a word about Chamberlain, you did. Obama's ultimate goal is to convince these people that peace and love and flowers are the best answer. But he forgets that these people are driven by a sick fundamental religious ideology that drives them to do what they do.

Obama simply doesn't understand the true goals of the Mullah's in Iran. Does Obama have a clue about Shia Islam? The return of the Mahdi? What needs to happen for their religious dreams to come true? DO YOU know anything about it? All it takes is someone with half a brain to look into this stuff and see what's really going on here. Stop making excuses for THE ONE. Look up Shia Islam. Look up the Mahdi. Look at what Iran keeps doing and saying over and over again. They would gladly destroy Israel, and that's exactly what their trying to do by pursuing Nukes.

Obama thinks he's some divine figure who can somehow create a path to peace with someone who wants nothing but to destroy Israel and the US. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an ignoramus..

Do you think we won the Cold War by sitting down and negotiating with the Soviet Union and "asking them nicely" to not expand their nuclear arsenal?

"Peace through Strength" is a slogan that worked quite well during the Cold War. Jimmy Carter did exactly what Obama is trying to do while getting walked all over by multiple dictators around the world. Check your history, my friend, seems like you haven't learned...We're supposed to learn from our mistakes, not repeat them.

Do you live in Israel? I'm excited to see what happens in the next couple weeks with Benjamin Netanyahu leading the polls to become the next Prime Minister of Israel. If you don't already know, Bibi is a HAWK. Many call him the Churchill of our time. Here's a really good article yesterday from Investors Business Daily.

An Israeli Churchill

War On Terror: The comparisons between Israeli electoral front-runner Benjamin Netanyahu and Winston Churchill are all too obvious. Too bad statesmen who have learned history's lessons are so rare.

As British historian Graham Stewart notes in his 1999 book "Burying Caesar," chronicling the 1930s political rivalry between Churchill and Neville Chamberlain, Churchill, "in contrast to many of his colleagues, anticipated the problem of a resurgent Germany even before Hitler's ambitions had become more fully evident." Stewart points out that Churchill made his first House of Commons speech on the subject no later than November 1932.

It was not the first example of the Last Lion's remarkable prescience. As another acclaimed British historian, Paul Johnson, observed in his sweeping history of the 20th century, "Modern Times," regarding the rise of Lenin in Russia, all but one Western politician failed "to grasp the enormous significance of the establishment of this new type of totalitarian dictatorship, or the long-term effect of its implantation."

Johnson said the exception was Churchill, whose strong sense of history caused him to realize "a fatal watershed was being reached." In 1918, he said Lenin and Trotsky should be hanged and the next spring he argued that of all history's tyrannies, "the Bolshevik tyranny is the worst, the most destructive, the most degrading."

As former Israeli prime minister and current Likud Party head Bibi Netanyahu enjoys a comfortable lead in the polls a week and a half before election day, his words of warning regarding Iran should remind the free world of how Churchill's advice went unheeded for so long — at the cost of millions of innocent lives.

Speaking to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday, Netanyahu cautioned that economic woes are distracting the West from a far greater danger. The former finance minister said that while global economic woes are reversible, "the acquisition of nuclear weapons by a fanatic radical regime" is not.

"We have never had, since the dawn of the nuclear age, nuclear weapons in the hands of such a fanatical regime," Netanyahu added. Stopping Tehran "remains the greatest challenge facing the leaders of the 21st century at the beginning of the 21st century."

For years most of the world has dithered in regard to Iran. Deluded governments still believe that an Islamofascist regime awaiting the coming of the 12th imam and an apocalyptic holy war can respond to diplomatic carrots and sticks with rationality.

Fortunately Israel, the nation that has the most to lose from a nuclear Iran, may soon be led by perhaps the sole 21st century statesman who possesses a strong, Churchillian sense of history.

When men of strength are presented with difficult problems, their responses are firm and decisive. Jimmy Carter spent four years responding with weakness.

1. Blind support for terror groups who have vowed the destruction of America including Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria and the Iranian regime

2. Blaming American policy for causing Islamic wackos to blow themselves up and target innocent innocent women and children, when we all know it's Islam itself that condones these actions.

3. His midwifery of the Islamic Republican of Iran and the Muslim terror that has subsequently spread across the world. When Carter withdrew American support from the Shah during his hour of need, his government fell, and one of our most valuable friends was replaced by our bitterest enemy. Once the Ayatollah Khomeini had taken control, the 3,000 communists Carter had been whimpering over were promptly shot, along with 20,000 pro-Western Iranians. Khomeini executed more people in his first year in power than the Shah had been alleged to have killed in the last quarter century. So much for human rights, as if leftists like Carter had any genuine interest in them anyway.

5. Doing NOTHING but sitting on his thumbs while Iran committed an act of war against the US when they invaded our embassy and took hostage 52 US diplomats for 444 days.

6. During the Clinton years, when asked to "negotiate" with N. Korea, he praised North Korea's mass-murdering dictator as a "vigorous and intelligent man." And of North Korea itself, Carter said of this habitat for inhumanity: "I don't see they are an outlaw nation."

6.The "community re-investment act", which ultimately led to Democrats pressuring banks to issue loans that were too risky, leading to the ultimate buildup and collapse of Freddie and Fannie, which we all know has led to what's going on right now with the economic meltdown.

7. Jimmy Carter also once challenged Ronald Reagan's "aggressive" and successful strategy for winning the Cold War. Perhaps he'd like to send one of his Habitat for Humanity crews to rebuild the Berlin Wall brick by tyrannical brick. The fact is that Jimmy Carter could not have done more to damage our national security had he been a hand-picked mole planted in the White House by the KGB.

8. Blaming Americans for America's problems in 1979 in his famous "malaise" speech in which he told us our best days were over. He nagged us to turn down our thermostats in the winter and turn them up in the summer, since the nation could not possibly overcome its energy problems.

"I think it's inevitable that there will be a lower standard of living than what everybody had always anticipated," he told advisers in 1979. "The only trend is downward."

"In a nation that was proud of hard work, strong families, close-knit communities and our faith in God, too many of us now tend to worship self-indulgence and consumption," he fussed.

He asked an America that was accustomed to prosperity to get along with less — which it had to do since his policies crippled an already hobbling economy.

9. By putting America's self interest on the backburner in favor of his vague "human rights" policy, all he did was enable dictators to take him to the cleaners, time and time again.examples: Cuba, Panama, Nicaragua, China, Egypt. (btw, ever wonder why Egypt, to this day, receives TONS of aid? Yup, you can thank Carter for that one)]

10. In Rhodesia, Carter kept up sanctions begun under his predecessors. But he went further by undermining the election of Bishop Abel Muzorewa as prime minister in 1979 to protest the exclusion of candidate Robert Mugabe. In response to Carter's pressure, new elections were held, giving Mugabe the victory he has held onto as Africa's worst dictator. Thank you, Jimmy Carter.
