I am so late in replying to your query. But anyways have you tried installing intense debate plugin with the default wordpress theme. Check, if plugin works with that theme. You can get an idea then as to why plugin is not working with your custom theme. For giving the right answer, I need to know your custom template code. :)

I think there is no way to remove already imported feeds(notes/posts) from your stream. Only in future you could not see them if you go by the above articles instructions.

Its lets u download only the images on a particular page of album. So if the album has 40 images it will download 20 first, and then you have to go to next page and download other 20. I hope this helps.

Try setting the alias to /var/www/phpmyadmin in apache.conf. May be the absolute path works for you. I don't think getting the PHPmyadmin work by pointing will create any problems in future. Best of lucks.
