GIVE IT A REST, for God's sake! Like someone earlier stated, we all know "who" is receiving the Food Stamps and WHAT kind of unhealthy CR*P they load into their shopping carts. Then in a few years, these same people are dragging down our HEALTH SYSTEM with their DIABETES & HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE & HEART ATTACKS & ATHEROSCLEROSIS, etc. etc. etc. We also know that many many of those on Food Stamps are not even U.S. citizens, many are students who are not looking for work because they're in class all day, and many take the "SNAP" cards and sell them for CASH so they can buy beer, cigarettes, or go gamble at a nearby casino. The whole FOODSTAMP/"SNAP" program should be cleaned up or eliminated. Cut BOTH the military and the Food Stamps, and leave the REAL LEGITIMATE programs like Social Security and Medicare alone!

Seems pretty obvious that the meaning of those passages is: Even if you FEEL anger, DO NOT EXPRESS IT IN A DESTRUCTIVE WAY that would "give place to the devil."

It's not that hard (really!) to quit smoking and the health benefits of doing so are many. But you have to WANT to quit. And you have to have something BETTER to substitute for the nasty smoking habit. Been there, done that--some 25 years ago! Never looked back. And so glad, too. (Lung cancer is a horrible disease and it affects everybody in your family, not just the smoker.)
