<title>Big Hollywood : The National Endowment for the Art of Persuasion?</title>
<link>http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/pcourrielche/2009/08/25/the-national-endowment-for-the-art-of-persuasion-patrick-courrielche/#IDComment32075176</link>
<description>The reason why the majority of artists, particularly in the theatre arts, supported Obama is because the democrats have always been strong supporters of the arts. Non-profit theatres have always depended on the NEA and other federally and state funded grants, and with the economy as it is, with private and corporate funding gone down the tubes, regional theatres are closing left and right. As a moderate conservative actress, I did not vote for Obama, but this is the first year ever that I will not qualify for my union health insurance. Theatres I have worked at have closed down, so there is less work to be had. Actors just want to work so they can&amp;#039;t see past the need to get the next job. I can count on one hand the number of conservative actors I know. </description>
