What the end does is confirm whether party member x, or y, dies. As for being taunt to be a Spirit Warrior, the teaching of specialisations was taken out of Awakening. There is a book that gets sold, I seem to remember it being sold by the Amaranthine arms merchant, in the market. My memory isn&#039;t exactly well balanced though so trust that as you will. The Dragon Age setting isn&#039;t meant to be in the same vein as Forgotten Realms (where BG, NWN &amp; IWD were set). Rather this world is meant to be a lot gritter, closer to dark fantasy than to high fantasy. I think if we&#039;re going to use D&amp;D settings as an example, the best would be to say that Dragon Age is closer to Ravenloft than to Forgotten Realms. That isn&#039;t to say that you can&#039;t have &#039;epic&#039; plots in Dark Fantasy, quite the opposite. Dark Fantasy does, on the other hand, tend to focus more on emotion than power. Generally speaking there is rarely an easy choice between good &amp; evil in dark fantasy because the two are deliberately blurred. So maybe you could try to look at the game in a different prospective. Rather than wishing it was the Forgotten Realms, appreciate it&#039;s differences: that it makes you work much hard to become a hero and along the way make sacrifices. Or perhaps the game isn&#039;t for you, no game is going to be for everybody--no matter how much they might enjoy the genre. I for one love RPGs, but I can&#039;t stand Oblivion (for example).
