So, it would seem to me that when a 4 star general WHO IS ON THE GROUND says to the President, we need more troops, there shouldn't be any waffling. That means everything should be dropped, a quick meeting of the minds and either the necessary troops should be sent or staggered out. I guess if I was President, I wouldn't be waffling. I would be under the assumption that my general ON THE GROUND knows a little more about the current situation than I do while sitting behind my desk in D.C. But then again, that's just me.
