This is a start of a revolution, all this time only the people on top are talking. Have they considered listening to the people and their opinions?

While they are busying themselves with all these funny business, real crimes are going on. I wonder how long can they keep ignoring the real PROBLEMS out there before it comes back tenfold. Are they really so high and mighty till they are immune to criticism? I believe that the pdrm is not all lost, so let the good cops do their jobs instead of wasting their abilities in something thats so unproductive. Well theres my 2 cents.

There's food for thought, and I agree with you on most of the things. Yes, a spark is all that's needed to start a fire, but if left unchecked it would burn the whole place down, but just maybe that's what Sabah needs. Rising from it's ashes, new and stronger then before. a Phoenix metaphor being personified.

Wow, your ideas are really compelling and straight to the point. But I am afraid that this ideology would never be widely accepted, especially now when everyone is fighting for freedom and democracy. What you are suggesting my friend is a blend of democracy, dictatorship and police state. Where the people are the police. (doesn't sound to bad though) The constitution and laws must be re-written but who will keep the peace when all of this is happening? Like I said, we need a leader with high moral values and principles from the start. No one is perfect and I'm certainly not favoring a particular person or race. For I like you expect performance. But if similar laws are implemented, heads will be rolling everyday. But I do agree that the court system should be freed from political or government influences, and that Peninsula based parties should butt-out. But do not count the Sabahan's out from the fight yet, for you might be surprised. "Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one." - Thomas Paine

No matter who the leader would be, he/she would always be an outsider to different communities. Please explain in more detail on what the ideal leader, race or religion that you would consider right for the job? Sabahan's and I do mean all from natives to chinese, malay and Indians had always have this laid back and forgiving attribute due to the way we were brought up ( well I couldn't speak for everyone, but that was the way I was brought up). I'm not trying to say that your idea is wrong, but I do not agree when race and religion play a role in decision making, especially in politics. We should have a separation of church and state, meaning the distance in the relationship between organized religion and the nation state. In our case even race. well at least that is my thought

I might agree with you on that, except we shouldn't discriminate between natives or non - natives, bumi or non - bumi. We are all in this together. Sabah has had their share with non - bumi leadership (we all know who they are, so names are unnecessary) and it still got us nowhere. We need a capable and rational thinking leader, 1 that puts the people first instead of his/her own goals. 1 that will stay true and vigilant to their promises and principles. 1 who will unite the masses in 1 common goal that would benefit all, bumi or non - bumi.

Free Malaysia Today : Ahmadiyya decry JAIS attacks

I was doing a bit of research on the Muslim faith, and what I find interesting is that The Qur'an mentions Jesus twenty-five times, more often, by name, than Nabi Muhammad. I am not trying to imply anything except how Malaysian Muslims (not all) has gone all the way in condemning Christians and other religions, now even their own denominations. Have they really forgotten their own teachings? Are we not all ′Ahl al-Kitāb (people of the book), the golden age of Islam was also the time where all religion and human kind came together to learn and contribute their knowledge in peace.

“A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.” - Thomas Jefferson Sadly this is not true in our country which boast democracy but practices corruption in it's purest form. The current ruling coalition have been talking about bringing true democracy and peace to this land, but each and everyone of them have shown their true colors the moment they hold power, empty promises made and at the end of the day the tax payers pay the price.

Free Malaysia Today : Abusing electoral rolls: End this farce

Every single day there will be reports of violent acts caused by illegal immigrants on the locals, house break ins, drivers being robbed out of their own car in broad day light, brutal stabbings and now even shootings (just to name a few). Is this what peace looks like? Doesn't anyone in the BN coalition see this as major threat to our own internal security? While they are only interested in their own greedy short term agenda's they are putting the future of our country, people and especially the children in serious danger, all together ignoring their pledge to safe guard our rights and welfare. What happens later if this problem is not dealt with now? What will happen to Sabahans's when the illegal immigrants have settled down and instead claim their own rights on our home land? The numbers are clear they outnumber us almost 2 : 1. We are being played around as if they see us as fools, taking blow after blow of insults and just sitting back and taking it. Sabahans may have made a name for themselves when it comes to laying back with the 'aramaiti' mind set, but then we're also damn good at drunken brawls. =)

My condolences to the family and friends of the late Marco Simoncelli. Have we really become so unreasonable, even at the scene of a death we acted out with such disgrace? Dont they realize we have gone a long way from Roman times where people pay to see other people suffer? There's no use at pointing fingers now cause at the end of the day international media will write on the headlines 'Malaysians' and we know exactly how unforgiving the media is.

Free Malaysia Today : The shackling of Aziz Bari and academic freedom

We were brought up to believe that we now are living in the age of democracy, where the tongue is sharper then the sword, where everyone no matter religion, race or status will be able to speak their thoughts and opinions no matter how extreme without the constant fear of being oppressed or even worse, imprisoned. Why are the current ruling powers so afraid of the people speaking their minds? Their actions now are just further prove of how paranoid they are of their own shadows. Must we resolved to drastic actions, like those in the middle east and the west are doing right now? The signs are clear now and the people are rising to fight for their freedom and rights which the current ruling powers has failed to protect and uphold like they have promised, and altogether ignoring the constitutional rights. "I do not agree with a word you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." -- Voltaire

Your just a joke and a shame to our fore fathers who brought your idiotic ass here, and by the way you respond to comments just proves me correct even more. People change just like how the moon does, and 1 day I wont be surprised if those DUMB NATIVES you refer to, end up bossing your sorry ass around, and WE RICH CHINAMAN has always had a say in politics since the start. So read up before commenting. anyways be respectful and i welcome a good debate, before this turns ugly
