I work in an arthouse movie theater. All my payed coworkers are old gay men. All my volunteer coworkers are young women. The only thing they all have in common is that they all watch Glee religiously. 45 minutes of my time once a week so that I know what the hell they are talking about the first two days after each broadcast.

The Becky plotline played out as an unintended criticism of the liberal cult of self esteem. For the first time we get to hear what goes on in Becky's head and her self assessment is to put it mildly, unrealistically optimistic. Which is first funny and towards the end a little tragic.

Just pointing out the obvious. If Ghost Protocol had been released 20 years ago it would have been a bigger hit simply because some those action sequences were beyond what was technically possible at that moment.

There are several novels that are prequels/sequels to Casablanca. I think there is even 1 written by a Big Hollywood contributor. I've only read some reviews/excerpts, but they all seem to be really terrible.

Forget the suffering, it's the bit where the British PM metaphorically knives the US president in back during the press conference that stands out most. In the context of the film that act isn't particularly anti-american, but the fact that the PM's approval rating goes through the roof because of it is intentionally anti-american. And I thought the 2 naked extra's (they are there to help a film crew set up lighting and camera angles for a sex scene) were hilarious.

That unnamed pizza magnate's name is : Reggie "The Sauce" Salazar. Notches for each sexual conquest, Brittany actually has them on her bed, 20+ of them. (not making this up). Now that would have been eyebrow raising.

I'm going to disagree with the chorus that wants to stop reading about glee on Big Hollywood. The show is a relatively important facet of the culture war. HOWEVER The quality of the articles needs to improve considerably.

Sue Sylvester has been consistent (in a tv show that is not consistent about many things) when it comes to not bullying or discriminating against either the mentally handicapped or the homosexuals. So no completely in character. And you ignored Rick's & Brittany's campaign speeches, which were classical examples of Democratic writers trying to satirize Republican campaign proposals.

I happen to agree with him on a lot of things, but that doesn't change that MLK was pretty much a lefty. While we are at it, if I were Bachman. I would definitely move over to the Obama side as well. Not that he is right, but he is far less likely to sport fleas and lice than the Founding Fathers.
