Simply calling something a doctorate doesn't make it a graduate level degree. Nope, it doesn't matter what the alleged victim does for cash. The dentists in the 30s, the pharmacists in the 50s, and the nurse practitioners and physical therapists are getting in on the game now, such that they'll all start calling themselves "Dr" very soon. But none constitute a graduate level degree. This isn't controversial at all.

All clinical doctorates are undergraduate degrees, no thesis, no research, no defense required. This includes DDS, DMD, MD, DO, PharmD, ND, etc., and definitely not "post-graduate". How is the victim's degree important, as you imply? The quotes are a subtle technique used by online commentators to specifically refer to the word or subject being discussed, as in we're talking about the "victim" in his/her role as a victim, not as in her work role, as we can safely assume no professional work was being performed on the sidewalk. "Alleged" is another tricky term used to describe an involved actor, at a point prior to all facts being known and/or reported. Online comments are often entertainingly uninformed, and based on presume and bias, but sometimes they achieve it hilariously. The WSJ news pages are far from right-wing (unless you're a Maoist), the opinion section much less so. And to assert something so obviously inaccurate and readily verifiable, especially along with the funny conspiracy argument, is just embarrassing. Did make us giggle. Thanks for that.

Sadly, Nukes is 100% correct with every detail (very well written!). Kudos to Rayme for all she's done, but the food's expensive (very), and far from earthshaking. Food trucks around the country (even in Denver) are blowing the doors off Comida for quality and price. We still go every couple of weeks or so, but as trucks approach eventual ubiquity in Boulder, Rayme will need to evolve, or whither away.
