The district does not take the concerns of the parents seriously. Our Superintendent is a bully as far as this goes, its his way or no way!! Didnt he already state in one interview that this was a temp situation. If I remember right he is now stating that this may be permanant. So many parents have voiced there concerns over the pre k, kindergarden and 1st graders being placed at the High School and our concerns were ignored. Not to mention Our other children near a bar. But the response was that there isnt much going on at the bar during the day so its all good. The kids still get the influance whether or not it is busy,If you ask any of the staff at the school how its going , they state is all coming together and its good, I wish they dared be honest. And to go spend a day at the school as they suggest, They stop you at the office and dont permit you to go to the class rooms , I realize they are protecting our children , BUT just ask if you can go to the class room and see where it gets you, I agree also with boat1 our teachers are the greatest, considering who they are working for . What I was told is that right now it is 3 cents and that We (KIDK) are only asking for 8 cents Per subscriber . She stated that yes 87 percent increase sounds high but this is what it breaks down to. So that it realy wasnt a huge increase. That is what I was told. I also called KIFI and ask if what they were paying was a fair amount or if they felt they needed an increase also. They stated they were happy with the service that Dish was providing. I guess that would be a standard response. That is 5 channels. $1.00 per channel. And although I agree dish is making a lot of money from us, Fisher communications ( KIDK ) Is getting very Greedy. The amount of commercials we are forced to have. are very costly to the advertisers. And Dish is one of their advertisers. It does not seem that Kidk is very loyal to the customers that have be loyal to them for many many years. Greed, Greed , Greed, and more greed that is what our entire future holds for us that is why the economy is in the shape it is in. Every one has to get theirs.
