Agree. Panic is never a good reason to do anything. We are fed negative news all the time from Drs Gloom and Doom. We are not told that the majority who contract COVID actually get better. We are not told about discharge rates or the proportion of people who have COVID end up in hospital and, of those, what proportion end up in ITU. How about people who get COVID because they went into hospital for some other reason. Of course Labour is even worse wanting lockdown to stay in force for an even longer period.

Patel should be fired. She is as you say authoritarian. I applaud Liz Truss for here libertarian views.

Brexit isn't a disaster. Since you're so committed evidence show us the evidence. Brexit is just about 1 year old. I think you are being presumptive.

Good questions but if I were you I wouldn't expect an answer any time soon.

What does as soon as possible mean? What are the criteria? I notice we still aren't being told about recovery rates or discharge rates. How many people with positive test results end up in hospital? All part of Project Fear. Frankly, I don't believe a word of what Mutt & Jeff (otherwise known as Whitty and Vallance) say.

Quite. The mental health consequences of lockdown are awful. There must have been an increase in anxiety and depressive disorders.
