<title>Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Goodbye Columbus (Day)</title>
<link>http://theglennbeck912project.com/2009/04/09/goodbye-columbus-day/#IDComment18529488</link>
<description>Why stop at Columbus Day? George Washington owned slaves, we may as well rename DC, the Washington monument, Washington State, and every school, road, town, mountain, library, etc. that we&amp;#039;ve named after a cruel oppressor. Doesn&amp;#039;t anyone feel bad referring to the black inventor George Washington Carver by the name of a hateful, oppressive slave owner? Maybe if History could somehow forget his real name and all of the other painful references to George Washington then all of the injustices committed against African Americans throughout the years would magically be reversed. </description>
