It was quite obvious that "Metroid: Other M" is, and was never going to be "Metroid Dread." Nintendo wasn't making this to be only a 2D-style plat former, but to be a smooth mix of the platformer, 3rd person, and 1st person perspectives.

This is either going to be absolutely fantastic, or complete crap. I hope that Nintendo pulls this off right, and keeps the game in the right hands.

I think it's good that Nintendo didn't announce this publicly on their stage, as they had enough going already, and that another announcement for another sequel for their three core titles is just a tad too much.

I'm hoping that Nintendo pulls this off, because if they can integrate WiiMotionplus into this game as much as they integrated the Wii's new control scheme with Twilight Princess at release, they'll have a helluva interactive game.

I'm less interested in the Channel, but more interested in the WiiSpeak's integration with the games it supports.

This'll probably only be a channel I get on once in a while, but who knows, if they can set it up in a way, like Skype, it could work. We'll have to see.

That would be too good to be true. Doubt that they could port a direct game though, from the Nintendo 64, but hell, had me going for a few seconds.

Well, it kinda does matter.
It's essential to the Conduit's success to have a good, well-rounded publisher.

I wasn't aware that Nintendo published 3rd party titles. Nonetheless, I'm excited to see how SEGA handles the Conduit, but I'm sure they'll do a fine job.

I think it really comes down to whether Nintendo can compete with the Xbox 360 and PS3 voice systems.

From what I've seen so far, it's balanced either way, and could be a bump or a slump for Nintendo. Hardcore players will buy this, although many (most) gamers won't pick this up because it isn't essential to many of the games that a gamer would play.

Animal crossing is one, and possibly the only one, worth picking up for this feature, unless some game such as the Conduit implements this as well.

In the end, 50% chance that it is terrible, 25% that it's so-so, and a 15% chance that it will actually be good. The last 10% is towards Rob blowing-up every store that holds this item.

Yeah, that wasn't very kind of that person.
