From reading up blog, if you have any problems with blackra1n, you can use Pwnage to get things working. 3.1 OTB = Jailbreakable but not unlockable (yet).

Loading the Custom FW now on my jailbroken/unlocked 3G (04.26.08 Baseband)... Up to this point I haven't used the benefits of ultrasn0w, but it's nice to know that when I do, I can pop out my AT&T SIM and put in whatever. If you know the difference between jailbreaking and unlocking, then I'm sure you already know to just follow what the Dev-Team says!!! I'll update everybody after my restore is complete... UPDATE: Everything went smoothly. Now up to 3.1.2 OS with the 04.26.08 Baseband still. Just remember to uncheck "Activate Phone" if you are using AT&T in the US. Oh yeah... The carrier logo is still missing, but I don't really care about that... Enjoy!

F*** the Dev Team for not providing instructions and SW to ensure that you can unlock your iPhone which you paid $$$ for... I don't have time to read Steps 1, 2 and 3 again! But somehow my phone is jailbroken/unlocked. I guess reading those steps again helps? Haha... I accidentally forgot to read correctly... :P

Just google it. You get to sign up page, enter your info and wait for a magical email... 2 weeks... I'm still waiting... The app is ready to go on my phone and looks good, though. Hopefully, I get it before the FCC and AT&T dig any deeper...

I had no idea all the issues with dropped connection was the Misfits' fault until now... Eh whatever, I'm sure there will be an update in the near future. Great job Dev-Team!!! Now if I can only get a GV account, iPhone life would be more awesome! And all the people who "accidentally" update their iPhone should not be jailbreaking their phones... Too busy to not read the posts on the side as well as the prompt in iTunes asking for "Download" or "Download and Install." Bleh... No jailbreak for you!

Follow up on the iPod Touch 1G: Used Pwnage Tool 3.1 with 3.1.1 IPSW and worked just fine. Not seeing any bugs at the moment. Follow up on the iPhone 3G: Used Pwnage Tool 3.1 with 3.1 IPSW (from 3.0.1) and the restore was seamless. Confirmed on the missing carrier logo (AT&T). When 3G is available, it will display 3G. Still need to confirm on the unlock, but don't have another SIM to verify. But since I've followed the DevTeam religiously, I assume it will work. Winterboard crashes after every reboot (will be in Safe Mode) until it is uninstalled, but I assume this is a problem with Winterboard and 3.1 not the jailbreak. My favorite Cydia packages FiveIconDock and StatusNotifier still work, except when you launch the StatusNotifier app, it just crashes out, but it still works for your status bar.
