The guy pulled a gun on someone and it accidentally discharged shooting himself in the thigh. Is this short version OK comrades?
Admins... I haven't been back to this site in a LONNNNG time because of your constant CENSORSHIP... I come back... and on the FIRST day, you have deleted my first post back... Really???
I came to this site expecting to see HEADLINES after Mishawaka won!... NOTHING!... I guess two backyard rivals ranked #1 and #8... doesn't warrant writing something special about. I was at this game and was amazed at the classless acts of some of the Penn fans! I know of two individuals who were hit with full water bottles thrown from the Penn bleachers as the Mishawaka fans ran onto the field in celebration. As I was walking to my car, a group of young Penn fans were yelling at the top of their lungs, "MISHAWAKA SUCKS!!!"... It's NO WONDER there were fights after the Washington at Penn game last week with NO CLASS fans like these! ~CONGRATS MISHAWAKA!!!~
"...I don't take chances with my children..."
It's FOOTBALL... Signing your kids up for FOOTBALL 'IS' taking a chance! If you can't handle the rough/tough mental and physical conditioning of Football, you should sign your momma's boys up for Tennis or Swimming!... I will reiterate that using profanity isn't necessary, but the coaches shouldn't have to be STALKED during practice by over-pampering mommies!
I agree with you... and as I said before, just look at the reaction of the other officers. No one steps in to say, "Hey... don't you think you're going just a 'little' overboard?"... NO! They all mill around as if this is the everyday NORM for them! I hope I never get pulled over in South Bend! o.0
Sorry to say it, but this is kind of why you don't see too many women involved in the game of Football... It can be rough, tough, grueling and 'PUNISHING'! I'm not saying that the profanity was necessary, but obviously the boys were just being put through a short 'punishment' for a poor performance equivelent to "grassers", or wind sprints. Just think what would happen if these boy's MOMMIES showed up on the battlefield if/when they join our armed forces! Boy, some Military Commanders will be in trouble with the Principal then!
I had posted a comment in support of the police awhile back, but I have to say after SEEING the video, it is hard to justify what the officers did. I mean, I totally understand the testosterone that psychologists say are going through a police officer's veins during a police chase... but that guy completely surrendered... put his arms way out, dropped to the ground, face down and completely SUBMITTED. There was absolutely NO reason to put a beating on him like they did! Very disappointing to see... Also disappointing to see the other officers on the scene who act as if this is alright... as if they see it everyday... SAD!
With all due respect, I disagree. We're not talking about a normal 'bank error'. This was shown as a "GRATUITY" on her pay stub. You or I should have questioned it on our 'standard' pay stubs... But I feel Waitresses DEPEND on gratuities to make their living and only make a couple dollars an hour as it is, due to that fact. As I said before in a previous comment, the definition is; "Gratuity (or; Gratuitous) adj. 1.) Done or provided without recompense: FREE. 2.) Unwarranted". I think the one mistake she made was right when she saw this amount, she should have immediately contacted an attorney to find out what her rights were. If the phrase is true, possession is 9 tenths of the law, she had possession, so it should belong to HER... Maybe return 1 tenth? ;)
"...what does her spending $$ that isn't hers say?"... Ummm, the money was in HER bank account... she had POSSESSION... Technically, it WAS HERS!... I have heard the phrase, "Possession is 9 tenths of the law"... I don't know if that's a real legal term... but if it is... and by the DEFINITION of "gratuity" (see my post below)... that is HER MONEY! No one cares when a waitress gets STIFFED... and they're OK with it if she only makes a 2 dollar tip... But if the SERVANTS... the PEASANTS fall into an unusual amount of money because the ROYALTY accidentally awarded a ruby instead of a chunk of coal, then it must be returned to the kingdom's treasure? Notre Dame's error... They should at LEAST share in the loss! (I'm not sure, but I also think they can afford it!)
Hey, you HIRE and pay good wages for good and competent accountants in order to prevent mistakes like this! If you put ANY amount on my payroll under "GRATUITY"... I'm keeping it too!- Gratuity (or; Gratuitous) adj. 1.) Done or provided without recompense: FREE. 2.) Unwarranted
