Reason seems to be that WWE is eventually going to replace the scratch logo with the Network Logo. Probably building the single world title as we speak.

And this is why wrestling fans still fail to realize why John Cena continues to main event pay per views.

Talking about WWE on social media = free advertising. Even if about how bad it is. Investors and market analysts see things like Twitter impressions being high? Stock price increases (as it has steadily for the past couple of weeks).

Basically, WWE doesn't give a shit whether or not you're complaining. You're printing them money.

Except crowds keep reacting to Lana's pro-Russian rhetoric and booing. Thus validating "cramming someone down your throat".

Look bruh..no one is FORCING you to watch Rusev. My advice? Go take a dump. Go watch porn. Make a ham sammich. Be silent if you're at a live event.

Reactions sustain pushes. Simple as that.

Someone has to explain to me the internet's obsession with pissing in other people's Cheerios just to get their jollies.

Triple R had an emotionally resonant moment with Daniel Bryan. Much like people have emotionally resonant moments with John Cena (regardless of whether or not they choose to see it, the solereason Cena is where he is is due to talent, having a connection, making money, and sustaining a reaction from the crowd).

So if those factors are what make a person a marquee performer in a PREDETERMINED SPECTACLE and you still need an explanation, please disconnect your wiFi and never go back on the internet again.

Yeah..the WCW Championship had LOADS of importance. So much so, David Arquette and Vince Russo held it to help sagging ratings.

Its a prop, you guys. Or, more accurately, a MacGuffin. With no greater or lesser value other than how the company that owns said prop positions the prop to appear as.

There's a six to eight hour difference between LA and the Bay Area. That distance is the same as most state lines on the East Coast. Two completely different worlds.

Also. To the last guy that commented? Wrestling isn't a sport. It's an athletic performance art comparable to ballet or stuntmen. Wrestlers are athletes, yes. But they do not compete. They perform. Thus wanting wrestling to be legitimized as a sport leads to legal ramifications, government oversight, committees, and a slew of lawsuits just beyond the bend.

Fans need to accept two things with wrestling; reconcile that, by and large, it's a fake sport. And also that none of you really would be suited to run a company structured like WWE.

I've read these responses. And I'm glad you got away from blaming the WWE for not caring for their performers without facts. However. Also consider that unlike real sports, WWE Superstars or wrestlers in general are paid per appearance. Actively being on cards. Plus whatever percentage they get from ad revenue, merchandise, ect. Without TV and PPV, they have very little cash flow going into their pockets. Thus hurting their lifestyle. Let's say someone like Darren Young makes about 60,000 a year which isn't bad considering that's above the average median income for a male with a Bachelor's Degree. That means per month, Young in this example is making 5k a month. Now deduct 10k from his annual salary and tell me how much of an impact that makes on a person's household? This isn't even factoring in taxes, mortgages, insurances, and other forms of debt that now tip the scale against his income.

An offseason wouldn't be viable. People on here have said "but they have no competition"...which is ludicrous. Everything on television is competition. Especially when you're trying to attract a demographic such as children that have short attention spans and will just move onto the next "cool" thing. Logically, an offseason is bad for everyone.

Instead of advocating for an offseason, advocate that wrestlers have proper representation to negotiate terms of contract in order to sustain their health. An agency or guild or union that mediates between the WWE Superstars and WWE, Inc.

I don't understand wrestling fans, JR. So we're in the same boat.
