Science explains why you think she is "sensitive to cold" https://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/04/science/chilly...

Was the argument between a man and a woman? Reminds me of the study that found (confirmed for me!) that office temperatures are set to the comfort level of middle aged men and that's why women (who have different internal thermometers) are always cold.

My previous comment was deleted for some reason. I was trying to invite you to this:

Let's see if our hard work paid off! Come join us at 7pm on Election Night, November 7, for a results watch party at The Ship, 158 Lafayette Avenue (between Grand and Howard). Polls in Virginia close at 7 pm - come by anytime after 7 to see how our candidates (and the rest of the candidates in Virginia and New York) fare. This is NOT a fundraiser! Free entry and cash bar.

Please RSVP (free) so we can give the bar an accurate headcount. More RSVPs means better drink specials. RSVP here.

The party will feature:
* A projection screen with election results
* Drink specials on cocktails, wine and beer (with secret password "NY4VA")
* A prize for the most patriotic outfit
* NY4VA candidate themed cocktails -
- The Delaney Daquiri, for Karrie Delaney running in House District 67 (Rum, Simple Syrup, Lime)
- The Foy Fox, for Jennifer Carroll Foy running in House District 2 (Tequila, Lime, White Cacao Liqueur)
- The Turpin Trilogy, for Cheryl Turpin running in House District 85 (Rye whiskey, Applejack, Brown Sugar, Orange Bitters)
- The Tran Treestand, for Kathy Tran running in House District 42 (Blended Scotch, Lemon, Ginger, Cherry Liqueur)

See you there!

APOC,

I meant to send this to you earlier but I could not find your email address. A group I am involved with (NY4VA - https://www.ny4va.org/ is having an election night party tonight. There might be OFA people there you know. It's at The Ship downtown.

We could have a mini-Crass meetup.

I agree. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any evidence of late that the Dems (the institution that is) have learned from it. I hope that changes soon.

Still, because I can't tire of saying it enough, Donna Brazile is a hypocrite and her account is self-serving. I don't know exactly her agenda behind the timing, but I don't doubt she has one.

https://jezebel.com/heres-dustin-hoffman-telling-... This Jezebel article yesterday about Hoffman -- and the articles linked in the comments -- was eye opening for me. I hadn't heard of a lot of these stories before.

This article by Donna Brazile -- in which she throws the DNC, Hillary, Obama, and Debbie W-S ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way under the bus -- is pretty amazing. https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/11/0...

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the attempt 2 weeks ago to oust her from the DNC at-large committee. https://www.buzzfeed.com/rubycramer/major-drama-u...

I wonder when she was crying to Bernie about the internal corruption at the DNC if she mentioned her leak of debate questions to HRC.

I'm okay with this dragging out another year. We need the resistance to stay engaged until midterms. We're only going to survive a Pence presidency with a Dem Congress.

This person has a good idea (don't know how to embed so I link) http://sashayed.tumblr.com/post/160307254835/sash...

Basically, instead of turning attention to the Senate, shame the House reps who voted Yes so Senators see how politically toxic it is to take away constituent's health insurance.
