It's like one in the morning right now, and I don't have the energy to go through the seven pages of comments to see if this has already been brought up (which I imagine it has), but I just have to point out:

When Giles kills Ben, they make a point of showing him putting on his glasses. This isn't him being Ripper; this is him being the Watcher, and discharging the duty he's sworn to do.

Man, the Watcher's Council is just so epically f*cked up.

I have rarely cried as hard at anything as I did at this episode. I was actually doing okay the first time, until I got to them rewatching the video at the end, and that was just IT I COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. T_T

And yes, I cursed at the screen as well, because OF COURSE YOU DID THAT, JOSS WHEDON, OF COURSE YOU DID.
