There is a lot of truth in this article. The lockdowns look like some kind of scorched-earth policy by the US, not just against China but Europe too. I get the feeling it is going to backfire very badly, though, not just economically but politically.

If the measures are so popular then why aren't they voluntary? I remember going to the supermarket the day before masks were made compulsory and 90% weren't wearing one.
It's time for the government to take back control and start running the country for the benefit of the British people and firms, not American corporations desperate to buy up our firms on the cheap and put British people under surveillance with Google, Zoom, Facebook and the rest.
