Don't misunderstand, I think the technology is fantastic and I am glad it is ours, but what has always made the U.S. a superior force is the American soldier in all its branches and various duties. It is the discipline, dedication and determination of the soldier, sailor, and airman that has always brought victory when the technology failed. It is wonderful that advanced technology will reduce numbers of people required for a military operation and exposure to danger for American lives, but it is the taking holding of land that determines ultimate control of any area and by definition, victory in a conflict. That can only be achieved with soldiers on the ground. Technology can be stolen by an enemy and used against us, hearts are much more difficult to steal.
