The Smoking Tire : Exceptional Inspiration: The Ugur Design Aerodynamic Coupe II

THIS > "just hire Ugur Sahin and let him do his thing" The CEO of Ford needs to do this, and then build what Ugur designs. One car - it could be a limited run, but with Ford's resources, it could also be a real production vehicle. If Ford doesn't retain him, VW Group should. Can you imagine what he'd do with Bugatti? The mind boggles.

The Smoking Tire : Video Review: One Take in a Cadillac XTS

Good job on this Matt, these little reviews are full of good information, and I'd vote to keep doing them. Am interested in your take on the ATS, and how it's being marketed, since they stuck a ATS commercial in front of your vid. The commercial seems to be pushing the car as something to be hooned. Is that a valid target market? And if it's going up against the BMW 3 series, am not sure that that's the way to reach those buyers, but it may be the way to reach ATS buyers... Love your work, and the site.

The Smoking Tire : Review: 2013 Ford Fusion SE 6-Speed Manual

Cool. Would like to see how the engines stack up in back to back driving. If I chose a turbo, would also get the factory extended warranty, just in case. Also, a neighbor just got one, noticed when walking the doggie the other day. Car is larger that I thought it would be, and looks tight and solid. Definitely on the list.

The Smoking Tire : The Art of Over-Priced, Industrial Snake Oil

When I first saw the article, I thought you were going to write about hi-po engine that are the same as stock parts, but under a different P/N and priced differently. Then I see it's this worthless 'art'. Sheesh. At least with a factory part, you get something for your cash. This is total crap. But a fool and their money are lucky to get together in the first place. Bleed the suckers white, I say!

Could see buying one of these for the wifey, but nor a manual. Wonder if a larger engine is required with the slushbox? Have had great experience w/Ford products, currently own an Expedition mommy car/track support/tow vehicle w/200+ K on it, and still going strong.

Big Hollywood : 'Super 8' Review: Super-Cliched with the American Military as the Villain ... Again

Since I grew up in Ohio in roughly that timeframe, the best part was the sets and how they were dressed out. The space shuttle posters and the 'Hunchback of Notre Dame' model were very cool. And yeah, I had a friend that liked to blow stuff up too. When they showed the kids film @ the end of the movie, we got a laugh after they killed the same zombie 3 times by yelling "Oh my God, they killed Kenny!'. But yeah, I'm pretty tired of the bad military meme. We get enough troops killed by incompetent leaders. Was glad to see this jerk killed rather than promoted. And finally, would not have seen it except that the bride wanted to. Wait for it on Netflix.

Big Government : The Light Bulb Goes On About the GOP Congressional Leadership

More and more the R party is useful only as something to be taken over. They would rather lose than have the tea party force them to do their jobs. We can no longer support a ruling class that is as inept as this one. I've got skels in the closet, so can't run myself, but will support a TEA challenger in my 'safe' republican district. In fact, taking over the safe districts may be a winning strategy. Seeing the Republican support for tea party candidates in 2010 - zero, leads me to believe that we should first hit safe districts and make a difference, instead of enabling weasels like Bohner.
