In the future, do not update until you know 100% that you're not upgrading your baseband. There is an unlock in the works, but will not be out until atleast 4.2 . On a note if you'd like to jailbreak now though you can use limera1n, just follow the instructions in the program (Windows only right now). As long as the Dev team keeps their jailbreak a secret, Apple can only guess what to update in iBoot to break their current exploit. Just to be safe (because there's still the possibility that Apple could patch iBoot in 3.1) get an iPhone with 3.0 on it ASAP. Also, another reason to get it ASAP is because when 3.1 is released, Apple will FORCE you to upgrade to 3.1 (if you decide to restore your phone) and therefore could cause problems.
