alz.org has good resources/information, and links to local chapters for things like support groups (should you need one). Hoping you (and the MiL) get the help you need!

I'd guess the marketplace is not better--I'm in NYC, and my monthly premium is $420, deductible is $4000, out-of-pocket $7600. That's the cheapest marketplace plan available, since I don't qualify for subsidies.

(Sorry you're going through it--it feels shitty to be paying so much and still have trouble getting care.)

I'm also curious about the foods Maxi is looking at--what un-tested cuisine did you find out there?

I didn't really enjoy the experience--it was pretty stressful, especially when even the "better" choices were bleak outcomes. I ended up liking the one where he gets on the train the best of the ones I saw, even though it was sad.

I did go pretty deep on a reddit thread where people were trying to map all possible outcomes in a flow chart, which was fascinating. I found it interesting from a technical perspective--how the hell did they keep track of everything during filming?

Solstice/Eggnog party tonight, recipe courtesy of Croeseus Pieces old post (if I could figure out links on my phone I'd put one here!)

I don't often manage to comment, but really enjoy and appreciate this community. Happy and healthy holidays to you all, and, most importantly, thanks for all the execllent party ideas, internet strangers!
