Big Hollywood : Twenty Most Overrated Films of All Time: Part II

100% agree. The Usual Suspects was an awesome movie. I disagree that the twist invalidated the entire movie. When you see the lawyer pick him up in the final scene, it is obvious that the story told actually happened, Kaiser Sozcia just changed the names of the people that actually made it out alive. Maybe the twist was just too good for Ben to catch?

Big Hollywood : 2011 Best Picture Nomination Countdown: #7 – ‘The Fighter’

The Trilogy was so unbelievable in real life, that recreating them would have been very dificult and never given the real fights justice. You truly have to see them to believe them. Plus none of the fights where for a title, and he lost two of three. It makes sense to end the movie with him as the WBU Light Welterwight Champion, than the guy that Gatti beat with one broken hand.

I disagree. Four kids from a town were everyone is expected to end up working in the coal mine, work their tails off to overcome the adversity and pull off the impossible. All of the kids end up graduating from college and living very successful lives. I find the theme to be decidedly right wing. Perhaps I missed something?

If memory serves that is about a teenage rapist/killer that commits his crimes in the nude. he targets bronsons daughter, and so on and so forth. I was much younger when I saw this movie and remeber it being quite disurbing. Couldnt remember the name of it until I read your post, but remember it being quite suspensful. Not sure that helped you at all.

UR...an idiot. "they would give the government dominion over the reproductive rights (healthcare) of it's citizens. Let the government tell you that you have to have your baby (healthcare) and they can by extension tell you that you can't - you've given them that power.” It is the democrat controlled congress that has given you the very thing that you fear a republican congress would give you. The only difference is your side thinks ok to kill the unborn.

Yes. Boondock Saints is a good movie. Definitely worth the watch. It's about a couple of Irish kids that take the law into their own hands in a Boston neighborhood. Lots of gun play, some good whiskey drinking scenes, and a great character played by willem dafoe. I'm not a critic or a writer (like a lot of the people on this site) but I love movies, and I think I have good taste.
