From the Collider interview (http://bit.ly/2c8EKq), Bay said that he’d take at least a year off before starting with Transformers 3. Assuming this date is correct, and assuming he hasn’t had a change of heart, I don’t know how he’ll have time to direct this. And I can’t imagine anyone else at the helm.
