We should provide links/source for this info. I know it's true. I've read it or seen it before and it's really good points BioRon. I drove 7 hours to go home for the holidays and a saw a lot of wasted land that could be used for hemp.

I'm not sure the media really cares about the US spending over $14 on the failed war on drugs and marijuana. I don't think they care that the bulk of that money is going to law enforcement like the DEA to continued tactics that have not worked in the past. I mean this info is readily available for any of them to cover.

Prohibition is big business for the government, drug testers, addiction organizations that want big money from the government, etc. It's really too bad profits out weigh humans in this marijuana issue.

Take the issue of fuel efficiancy standards. US automakers can invest in new hemp fueled and crafted models, making them more competitive. The bottom line is fuel efficient cars that run on hemp-alternative fuels represent the future of the auto industry.

A future American car companies can have, if we start making some important choices now.

Aggressively investing in hemp could also lead to the creation of thousands of new jobs. 10 or 20 years down the road that Maytag plant in Illinois could re-open its doors as a hemp-fuel refinery. Down the street scientists could be busy in a research lab working on a new hemp manufacturing process [or medical marijuana benefit] and across the way a new auto company could be busy churning out hemp cars.

Hemp education, science & technology & energy.

Investiment in hemp-key areas would go a long way in making America more competitive. Of course this investment will not yield returns over night and will be subject to controversy.

Wow, Infiniti. What state are you in? I love topics because they calm my chronic pain without affecting my cognitions. I'd be interested in learning more about what you do. Maybe I can use your ideas in LA. I love CBDs. Too much THC aggravate my pain.

Today President(-elect) Obama addressed the nation in his weekly YouTube message talking about American Recovery & Investment Plan. I'd like to suggest that as part of his plan he include Cannabis, Marijuana, Hemp.

Herbalicious American Cannabis Hemp Recovery & Investment Supplement Plan:

The USA can create jobs by allowing American farmers to grow hemp and encouraging job development in industrial and food-based hemp. These would be private sector jobs. Hemp will help us ween ourselves from foreign oil dependence. Hemp can is the best source of bio-fuel.

While renovating Public buildings consider putting hemp-based paper produces Toilet paper, paper towels, cups, hemp-alternative plastic wear, hemp signage, etc. Imagine a "green" white house where NO trees are cut down to provide products for the white house.

Hemp can be used for food, clothes, oil, plastic-alternatives, steel-alternatives, timber-alternatives, etc. Please consider hemp as a way for Americans to meet the challenges of our time.
