Yeah, but what you're describing, is a jerk. Jerks exist throughout life, and we strive to avoid them. Just because a fairly broad parallel between an aspect of someone's behavior, and that of a jerk's, can be drawn, doesn't mean it should be. Correlation doesn't equal causation, and all that.

To put it another way, on the way out to get food a bit ago, someone came speeding up behind me, swung into the turn lane to pass me, and several other cars, and immediately went swerving into a parking lot. The lot was, maybe, a few hundred feet ahead. (70 - 80 meters for the non U.S. audience) Yes, jerk like behavior, and I was ready to pass judgement, but then I noticed it was the parking lot to a vet's office, and the gentleman was going to his passenger door to get his dog, who was obviously injured and in need of aid.

As my regular navigator, who as it happens is barking at the neighbors right now, can attest, some things trump civilized driving.

A lot of the recent furor over "counts as" originates with Goatboy from BoLs, a man who, in my opinion, puts time and effort into his armies, be they Space Goats, Grammar Wolves, or something you might see in the pages of a codex. Regardless of your, or my, opinion of him though, my point devolves down to nothing more complex than, sure, we can describe both sets of behavior, his, and the guy playing the same unpainted army, broadly, under the category of "counts as," but why do we bother? It only furthers miscommunication.

Maybe we should come up with more precise phrasing instead?

It's the old SW rules, that 1 hq per 750pts thing. There's no such requirement in the new 'dex
