Hello World Web Hosting News : Domain Name Registrar Maintenance

I suggest you ask the company you used to register the domain with, or the company you plan to use for hosting. Neither of which are Hello World Web Hosting. Go spread your spam elsewhere.

I should add that your IP has been un-banned in the firewall. If you have a static IP, I'd be happy to whitelist it to assure this never happens again.

Hi Jolly,

Your website is up and working correctly, as is ours. Whatever you were doing last night resulted in over 60 404s in less than 200 seconds, and the firewall blocked your IP. That's all. Just like if you walked onto a plane and yelled \"Hijack!\", the firewall doesn't know you're the website owner, all it goes by is the behavior.

60 404s in less than 200 seconds is almost always a script running...it's hard to imagine the circumstances where that wouldn't be a script. I'd be happy to open a support ticket for you and send you the logs so you can see for yourself.

In the future, you can always open a support ticket by email, should this even happen again.
