This administration is screwing up things so badly that we are in for a bout of inflation and possibly hyperinflation, the likes which we have never seen! Be prepared to provide for yourselves and your families. If you need it, purchase it now! Plant a garden, invest in a couple of chickens, just prepare.

I got an interesting email this afternoon..... Can anyone tell me if it's true? It is as follows: I wanted to give ya'll some disturbing information on our wonderful president. I work with the Catch-A-Dream Foundation (www.catchadream.org) which provides hunting and fishing trips to children with life-threatening illnesses. It is a great program needless to say. This past weekend we had our annual banquet/fundraiser event in Starkville. As part of the program, we had scheduled Sgt. 1st Class Greg Stube, a highly decorated U.S. Army Green Beret and inspirational speaker who was severely injured while deployed overseas and didn't have much of a chance for survival. Greg is stationed at Ft. Bragg and received permission from his commanding officer to come speak at our function. Everything was on go until Obama made a policy that NO U.S. SERVICEMAN CAN SPEAK AT ANY FAITH-BASED PUBLIC EVENTS ANYMORE. Needless to say, Greg had to cancel his speaking event with us. Personally I think she is a detriment to the Democratic party and she might be doing them more damage IN office rather than out..... She's been shown for what she really is and that only hurts them.....

The groups Are beginning to merge and will continue IF personalities and pride doesn't get in the way. I know a couple of other websites that want to be "top dog" but if they don't put their pride aside we're all just gonna get scr%wed!

I've noticed a few people were concerned about others leaving this site. I have an idea about what might be happening..... First of all, I think that this time of year, people are spending a lot more time outside mowing lawns, planting and tending gardens and like me, are lacking any time to sit at the computer for any real daily amount of time. Back in March, I had plenty of time to log in and leave my two cents...... Now I have gardens, livestock, lawns school activities, storm clean up, storm clean up and storm clean up...... Did I mention storm clean up? Second, I think that we are getting more organized and joining other groups (9/12 included) so that we can make a real difference in the next round of elections. I know I'm in 5, 9/12 groups around the state so that I can help to coordinate the state efforts. I'm on the planning board for the tea party movement and I'm even considering throwing my hat in the ring for state representative.... Third, the first round of tea parties is over and although there are more planned, I'm not sure if it will ever be as impressive as the first set. (Unless you do something.) Yes, I said YOU. Forth, as the new emotional awareness of this site wears off, it, ( "it" being the mantle) will be left to a few stalwart individuals that won't quit until the we make a real and lasting change in Washington. Don't be discouraged folks. This has only just begun......

Drywall might be sufficient, however, if there is any possibility of water exposure, use green board or hardibacker. It will cost a little more but save you a lot of work later. We used tongue in groove wood and painted it. It lends a wonderful texture to the ceiling!

Thanks Sally! We're not far from Augusta! We're running the generator again this morning because we're having a new satellite dish put up this morning. The winds ripped it right off the roof, along with part of the roof. Thanks to you all for your kindness. I know that you support us in spirit where it really counts!
