No, I didn\\\'t remove the metal frame before gluing the wood. The metal frame is thin enough that it doesn\\\'t cause a problem with adhering. I didn\\\'t do the inside of the cabinets. I had thought about using contact paper and covering the shelves, but I never got around to it. It looks like they also used a construction adhesive to adhere the mirrors to the wall. That construction adhesive is some pretty heavy duty stuff! It'll hold almost anything.
